Margaret “Peggy” Katherine Hinz
age 71, of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully on the afternoon of April 24, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family after living with pancreatic cancer for four and a half years.
Peggy loved ferociously. In a recent conversation with her daughter, she was asked what she valued most in this life. Her response was that she valued love – and that she found this love through you, the friends and family she met during every phase of her journey; early life in Wood Lake and Watertown, Minnesota, cheerleading in high school, her life and family in St Cloud, Minnesota, her career and friendships at the phone company, her passion for theater, raising her daughter Christine, her second career and friendships through massage therapy, and the wonderful friends and family formed through this last leg of her journey with her love, Dan.

Peggy’s Cancer Story
Over the last several years, Peggy took writing classes at the Loft Literary Center. In early 2021, she wrote her cancer story.
